Project Mission Statement:
As helping others is part of our fraternal mindset implied in Kappa Psi's tenets of Brotherhood and High Ideals, this philanthropy event is intended to support our fellow man. The Bobblehead Dave Project has a main purpose of supporting Special Olympics insofaras sending a financial contribution can help send a Special Athlete to Dublin, Ireland for the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games. foster confidence and growth in special athletes across the country.
This mission statement was amended July 1, 2003 due to insufficient funds accumulation to support an athlete's trip to the World Summer Games held June 2003.
Project Goals:
1) Repay our project financiers ($2500)
2) Make a $3000 donation to one Special Olympian's
trip to the World Summer Games in Dublin, Ireland
2) Make a $3000 donation to Special Olympics
-This goal was revised July 1, 2003 due to insufficient funds
accumulation prior to the World Summer Games event-
2) Make a $1000 donation to Special Olympics by
Province V Assembly 2005
-This goal was revised February 1, 2005 due to lower than expected
bobblehead sales-
3) Donate additional profits over and above $3000 to
Special Olympics Ohio
4) Sell 200 Bobbleheads by August 15, 2003
